Modified on Mon, 2 Dec, 2024 at 10:35 AM

Cigna uses various methods to maintain the security of your information. In order to allow communication and claims synching, HealthLock will need your Cigna account set to Two-Step Authentication (also known as Two-Factor Authentication or 2FA).

To Turn On Two-Step Authentication:

  1. Log in to mycigna.com.

  2. When the Account Access Update popup displays, select Continue.

  3. Verify your Phone number or Email, to start the process.

  4. Once you receive the Cigna Code, enter it to turn on Two-Step Authentication.

  5. To test, sign out and back in to Cigna. If Two-Step Authentication is turned on, Cigna will send you a code to confirm your Identify.

  6. Sign in to your HealthLock account at member.healthlock.com.

  7. The message "Looks like there is a problem with your insurance carrier(s)" will be displayed, select ACCOUNT SETTINGS, then RE-LINK TO INSURANCE  and enter your new or verified insurance carrier credentials. If the updated credentials entered match, a VALIDATED and syncing is successful message will be displayed and claims will be imported within 1-3 days.
