How to update insurance carrier username and password credentials.

Modified on Wed, 8 May at 10:11 AM

Every insurance carrier is different, but here are some general guidelines for updating username and password credentials:

  1. Go to your insurance carrier's website.

  2. Locate a button or link that reads 'Log In' or 'Sign In'. These can usually be found near the top of the web page.

  3. Enter your current Username and Password, then go to Account Settings and follow the instructions to change.

  4. If you forgot either your Username or Password, locate a link called Forgot Username or Password (fairly standard on most websites), then follow the instructions to change either or both.

Next, since your insurance carrier credentials must match EXACTLY to those provided on the HealthLock member portal, once those credentials are changed you will receive an "Invalid Credential Alert" or "Looks like there is a problem with your insurance carrier(s)" message. This is sent when our system cannot automatically access your carrier portal. To "FIX" and resolve:

  1. Log in to your insurance carrier portal to validate your credentials and access the account.

  2. Next, Log in to your HealthLock member portal at member.healthlock.com, then select Account > INSURANCE.

  3. The message "Looks like there is a problem with your insurance carrier(s)" will be displayed, select FIX and enter your new or validated insurance carrier credentials. If the new or validated credentials entered work, a VALIDATED and syncing is successful message will be displayed.
