How to MERGE duplicate family members.

There may be duplicate family/dependent members in your account. This is because your carrier and providers can have variations in name formats and spellings.

You may have seen these duplicates when signing HIPAAs or in your member portal in Account > MEMBER(s) section.

 To add/update/merge the members within your account:

  1. Log in to your member portal.

  2. Select Account, then the MEMBER(s) tab.  

  3. Select one of the duplicate members to remove, then merge with the duplicate member to keep.   

  4. Repeat for any other duplicate members.

NOTE: When selecting the dependent to merge, DO NOT select the member designated as Account holder in the selection options.
