How HealthLock alerts you about potential medical fraud.

Modified on Fri, 14 Nov at 2:49 PM

Yes. If potential medical fraud is identified, HealthLock will send you a text message alert prompting you to log in to your Member Portal. Inside your portal, you’ll find detailed information about the issue, including what was detected and any next steps needed.

Your account is automatically set up to receive both Email and SMS (text message) alerts. If you prefer not to receive text notifications, you can turn them off at any time.

How to Turn Off Text Message Alerts

  1. Log in to your HealthLock Member Portal.

  2. Select Settings to expand the menu, then choose Account.

  3. Scroll to the Alerts section.

  4. Uncheck the SMS checkbox (green indicator means “on”).

Note: Turning off SMS will only stop text messages. Email alerts will continue so you never miss important updates.

You can also stop text messages at any time by simply replying STOP to any HealthLock text you receive.
