No, we do not need your cell phone number. Your account is setup for both Email and text messages (SMS) via your cell phone. You can "turn on" text messaging by providing your cell phone number but it is NOT required. You can also manage your Notification settings in your Member Portal.
To manage Notification settings:
- Log in to your HealthLock account.
- Select Account from the left navigation panel.
- In the Accounts tab, scroll to the Notification settings, Account updates section.
- Uncheck (turn off) or check (turn on) the SMS check box.
NOTE: If you uncheck the SMS option, this will only turn off Text messages. Any future messages will still be sent via your Email.
Another way to stop text messages is to simply reply STOP to any text message you receive.
