Understanding your "New Claim" notifications.

Modified on Thu, 13 Nov at 9:59 AM

HealthLock automatically syncs with your insurance portal to continuously pull in new medical claims and related services based on your coverage.

Whenever your insurance reports a new provider visit or claim update, our system sends you a “New Claim” notification—even if the change may not always be obvious right away. Sometimes, these updates reflect claim adjustments or resubmissions rather than entirely new services.

Each claim goes through our proprietary analytics system, which reviews them for accuracy. In your HealthLock Member Portal, claims will appear with one of two statuses:

  • Verified – The claim has been reviewed and confirmed as accurate.

  • Flagged – The claim may require further review or could present potential savings opportunities.

To View All Your Claims and Statuses:

  1. Log in to your HealthLock Member Portal.

  2. Select Claims from the left navigation panel.

  3. Click the Status column header to sort by ascending or descending order.

  4. Use the Filter option to view claims by Patient, Provider, Type, and Status.

  5. You can also use the Search box to quickly find a specific claim.

TIP: Click the column headers to sort ascending to descending for Date of service (DOS), Patient, Provider, Type, Your cost, and Bill Total.
