What is the difference between a "Verified" and a "Flagged" claim?

Modified on Thu, 24 Oct, 2024 at 1:09 PM

A "Verified" claim means that your bill has been cleared, and you can pay the amount billed. From the Claims view of your member portal, a claim/bill which has a status of "Verified" means the claim details and your insurance plan have been reviewed by a combination of analytics and trained auditors and is OK to pay

A "Flagged" claim means there may be potential for savings. The claim may have been flagged due to potential issues which could be errors, fraud, or overbilling. HealthLock members can request the assistance of a HealthLock auditor by selecting LOWER MY BILL on "Flagged" claims.
