HealthLock has introduced a new feature called "Upload a bill" designed exclusively for members. This feature offers the option to bypass the requirement of syncing insurance details during the initial onboarding process. Instead, members can conveniently upload their bills directly through the dashboard. This functionality also extends to individuals lacking insurance coverage, providing them with the option to register for our service by submitting their medical bills for review.
For current members encountering challenges with carrier syncing or similar issues, this feature will be readily in the Insurance view of their dashboard. It serves as a convenient option for bill submissions, enabling audits while any syncing issues are being addressed.
Here's how it works. After completing the initial onboarding steps:
1. The member will be prompted to connect their insurance.
2. In the event the member does not want to sync their insurance carrier, or they are having issues with syncing, locate and the upload it now feature located on the member dashboard.
3. After answering a few Yes or No questions, select Choose a file to upload then CONTINUE to advance to the next screen to select a Category (Insurance Card, Invoice, Receipt and Other), an optional Description, then UPLOAD.
4. When prompted to read and consent to the Service Fee Charge and Terms of Use.
5. Select Lower my Bill to trigger the Negotiation process.
