To advise a member how to use the 'LOWER MY BILL' feature:
- Member receives email/text notification about flagged bills and is directed to log in.
- From the Dashboard, click on the "View flagged" link or select "Claims" on the left side to see the full list of claims.
- Member clicks ‘LOWER MY BILL’ on flagged claim and accepts the 20% shared savings.
- The case is assigned to a Personal Healthcare Champion (PHC) for resolution and notifies the member of outcome.
- If reduction or savings is found due to overbilling or error, the member is charged 20% (Recovery Workflow, chargeable).
- If reduction or savings is found due to fraud, the member is NOT billed (Remediation Workflow, not chargeable).
IMPORTANT: If you have not yet done so, you will need to sign your Carrier and Provider HIPAA Authorization Forms.
