To answer your question, Why is a credit card required even if I am receiving free membership through Mastercard?
Through our partnership with Mastercard, members are eligible to receive unique plans and pricing—including ongoing Medical Claim Monitor for Mastercard membership at no cost. However, at this time a payment is required to be on file to cover any optional negotiation services. While negotiation services are completely optional, we ask for a payment method to be on file to make the process quicker and easier should you choose to have us work on your behalf to lower your costs.
