NOTE: Mastercard will sunset HealthLock as a Core Benefit for all U.S. cardholders effective March 31, 2026. HealthLock will continue to provide support for cardholders through September 30, 2026, for any enrollments made prior to March 31, 2026. After September 30, 2026, cardholders will be subject to the terms of any direct agreement HealthLock offers them.

What will happen with HealthLock benefit? | As part of the changes to your Mastercard, if you had the cardholder benefit as of March 30th, 2026, it will continue until September 30, 2026. The benefits through Mastercard will then be discontinued at that time. You can continue the services directly through HealthLock at that time. |
When and how HealthLock benefit | Effective March 30, 2026, HealthLock will be removed as a benefit for Mastercard cardholders, except for those who were already enrolled with HealthLock as of March 30, 2026. Those cardholders will continue to receive these benefits through Sept. 30, 2026. |
Who is eligible to continue receiving HealthLock’s complimentary monthly membership or the 90‑day no‑cost premium trial after the benefit changes take effect? | Cardholders who wish to use HealthLock’s complementary monthly membership or the exclusive no-cost trial of HealthLock premium features for 90 days will continue to be able to do so until September 30, 2026, IF they were enrolled in Healthlock as of March 30, 2026. |
What should cardholders expect to see in the user experience on the removal date? | Effective September 30, 2026, new cardholders who attempt to create a HealthLock account will no longer receive the 90‑day free trial or the complimentary 90‑day access to HealthLock premium features. Current members enrolled on or before March 30, 2026, will continue to receive service through September 30, 2026. After that date, all cardholders will need to contact HealthLock directly to access the HealthLock’s standard service offering available at that time. |
Why is HealthLock being removed from the Core Value Prop? | Mastercard is adjusting the card value proposition to better suit cardholder needs on recurrent payments and everyday usage. |
If I want to continue using HealthLock, what should I do | Cardholders can log in to their accounts at any point after September 30, 2026, subscribe to HealthLock’s standard service offering available at that time and continue using HealthLock with the features in that offering. |
For cardholders who registered on March 30, 2026, will they be able to enjoy their 90-day no-cost trial after the decommission? | If a cardholder redeems their 90 day no-cost trial prior to the offer decommission (March 30, 2026), they will receive the full 90-day trial and their chosen service after the trial through Sept 30, 2026. |
Does Mastercard have a plan to offer HealthLock or any other Health Benefit Marketplace product in the future? | Mastercard is exploring health related benefits to better suit cardholder needs. |
