Modified on Mon, 24 Nov, 2025 at 11:35 AM

To turn off two-factor authentication (2FA) for your Kaiser Permanente online account, follow these steps:
  1. Sign In: Go to the official kaiserpermanente.org website and sign in to your account using your User ID and password.
  2. Navigate to Profile: From the top navigation menu, hover over or click My Account, then select Profile & Preferences.
  3. Access Account & Security: On the Profile & Preferences page, click on the Account & Security section.
  4. Manage 2FA Settings: Scroll down to the 2-FACTOR AUTHENTICATION section. By default, 2FA may be turned off, but if it is on, you will see an option to manage its preferences.
  5. Disable 2FA: Click the "2-factor authentication preferences" link or a similar option to access the management screen and follow the prompts to disable the feature.
If you encounter any issues or are unable to sign in to your account to make these changes, you will need to contact the Kaiser Permanente Patient Support Line at 1-888-901-4636 for assistance. They are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, except on major holidays.
