understand why a claim was overcharged or denied. This communication helps ensure your claims are reviewed accurately and fairly.
Your auditor can only do this after you’ve signed the HIPAA Authorization Form in your member portal, which grants permission to securely access your information in compliance with privacy regulations.
If, for any reason, you prefer that a claim not be investigated, simply avoid using the “Lower My Bill” feature—this is what initiates a claim review or investigation.
