How do you help protect me from medical fraud?

We work to help you catch medical fraud and medical identity theft as early as possible to help head off additional issues, including fraudulent bills and incorrect medical records. 

We do this in several ways:

  1. We monitor your providers for breaches and notify you when we detect a breach. 

  2. We help you remediate medical fraud issues. If you receive a bill that doesn't match your claim, click 'Report potential fraud' on the claim. We'll investigate and work to restore accurate records.

  3. We help you stop further medical identity theft. If you see an unknown doctor or provider in your dashboard, click the 'I don't recognize this provider' button. We'll open a case and work on your behalf to help remedy the problem.
