What to do if you receive a letter from a Collection Agency.

Modified on Wed, 12 Nov at 5:07 PM

If you receive a letter from a collection agency about a medical bill or claim, please contact us right away. Ignoring collection notices can have serious consequences, as the agency may report the account to credit bureaus—potentially impacting your credit standing.

To help us assist you quickly:

1. Upload any documents you’ve received from the collection agency or your provider to the Documents section of your HealthLock Member Portal located in the left navigation panel under Settings.

2. You can also use the upload it now link to open a case located on the main Dashboard.

3. Or, select the Chat feature and a Customer Care Representative will assist you.

Once we have your information, our auditors can review your case, verify the validity of the charge, and help you take the appropriate next steps to resolve it.
